Reasons for Compression Molding with Plastic Molds

Auto plastic mold press means that in the ejection mold product stage in the production process of injection products, some mold products may not be effectively ejected for various reasons, resulting in deformation of automotive plastic moulds or other damages.

1. Improper position of the origin of automotive plastic moulds: The position of the electronic ruler for mold clamping is not correct. The plastic mold factory should check whether the electronic ruler is loose and adjust the origin of the clamping; the mechanical origin of the clamping of the injection molding machine is not properly adjusted when it leaves the factory. It is too far forward, causing the mechanism to be stuck. If the mold cannot be opened frequently, you can ask the auto plastic mold factory to adjust it.


2. The mechanism of the automotive plastic mould is stuck: it is not the case for the old machine, and this situation should be suspected. In general, the adjustment of the clamping force is too large, such as adjusting to 1700 kg and other habits are not good, such as not opening the mold for a long time, system changes and other habits are not good. The bottom line of this problem is the adjustment habit and parameter problem of the technicians of the plastic mold factory. The solution is very troublesome, to remove or loosen the fixing nut on the cross rod.


3. The oil cylinder of the automotive plastic mould is damaged: the oil seal of the clamping cylinder is damaged and leaks oil, which causes the actual mold opening pressure to not rise. For this reason, it is useless to look at the pressure gauge, and the oil cylinder should be disassembled for inspection.


4. Poor movement of the valve core of the automotive plastic mould: The valve core of the mold opening solenoid valve is not well moved, or is stuck, and the valve core is not in place. The solution for the plastic mold factory is to disassemble the solenoid valve for inspection.


5. The pressure of the automotive plastic mould is too low: the high-pressure clamping pressure is too low, the injection mold manufacturer can appropriately increase the clamping pressure, but not too high, so as not to crush the mold; see whether the parameter design is appropriate and the pressure is not large enough.


6. Poor lubrication of automotive plastic moulds: There may be problems with the lubrication of the clamping system. The plastic mold factory checks and maintains whether there is foreign matter in the mold, check whether there is residual material on the mold and mold surface, and clean up the residual material.
